Pointers for when it feels like shit hit the fan.
Inspired by the recent global events and the messages and worries of my clients, I’ve decided to make a little “Spiritual Survival Kit” to help anyone get by this difficult time. Most of the people brought to my pages are highly sensitive beings. Anyone can be triggered during a global panic as it tends to resurface past life traumas associated with the mass hysteria – but sensitives are especially affected during this time. Especially if they are unaware of their energy and unable to manage their energy/emotions/input and output. Below I have gathered some pointers I’ve learned through my own traumatic past and in healing and helping people work through theirs.
•Find something positive in all things. I know this may seem hard because the news, tv, minds, stresses bank accounts etc… But the harder it is the more necessary it becomes. Finding something positive to focus on can shift your whole mood and keep you from feeling like you are emotionally drowning. Some examples, I have been able to enjoy quality time with my children. I have been able to catch up on projects at home. I have been able to connect to people I wouldn’t usually connect to. I have found more appreciation and gratitude for everyday things once taken for granted. •Powdered nutritional (not diet) mixes are great for emergency food supplies and are easy to store as they don’t need to be refrigerated. •Spend time in nature! Seriously! Go for a walk! Earth is a natural transmuter of negative energy. So go for a walk! As you walk release your worries into Earth knowing Earth will transmute that energy into something beautiful and positive. •Children are THE MOST sensitive and receptive beings on this planet. If they are acting up, fighting, being reclusive NOTE that they are feeling the stress and negativity of this moment and help them find the “light” or be the light for others to help them work through their own negative thoughts and energy.
•Meditate! It only takes 15-20 mins a day and it has been scientifically proven to reduce stress and raise positive vibrations and mood! Best of all it’s free. Here is a guided meditation I created to clear and ground energy: https://youtu.be/X83k-kIQ4ko •Stick to statistics. Don’t let yourself get overwhelmed with negative “what ifs”. Understand that “what if” is actually just focusing on what isn’t and unless those are positive they will not be helpful. Prepare. But don’t over stress dumping all your savings into toilet paper, because “what if”. •Get resourceful and creative! Think outside the box! I have been in many situations growing up homeless and struggling in poverty where innovation was salvation. Understand that there is always an answer. Need an emergency diaper? Make a cloth one. Creativity can solve many issues! •Stick to necessities! Bring out the camping gear! Make it fun if you can. •Have fun! Take a moment every day to do something relaxing. Like a craft, playing a card game with loved ones, going for a walk. Those will be the moments the kids remember when this is all said and done. But even if you don’t have kids it’s useful to take a moment and do something that will make you laugh and distract your mind. •Call your largest bill companies. MANY companies are initiating penalty free windows for delayed payments because of the pandemic. See which ones don’t need to be paid (if money is tight and work is not paying) and save that money until you are sure you can pay that bill. •Check on your loved ones. Physical seclusion doesn’t mean mental and emotional seclusion. Talk it out. Call a friend. FaceTime. Skype. Send love.
•Check on your elderly and offer to send them delivered groceries! The elderly are the most at risk and many of them don’t know how to use technology like we do. Many of them are being forced into stores and public to pay bills or to pick up supplies and food. So if you can, help them out. •Use your app delivery systems! Many stores and grocery stores do drive-in pick ups! Reduces contamination and stress. Some will even deliver right to your home! •Use the Internet for your benefit. Meaning clean up your feed of conspiracy theorists, fear mongers, rude and fearful people. Put them on a “ignore” for a couple days. Fill your feed with inspirational content made to raise vibrations. •If it’s not productive or useful let it go. Fear is literally debilitating. It will create and invite panic. Most of the time the fear is a bigger problem then the actual issue. So RELEASE FEAR and instead take productive action. “What can I do about it today, right now, at this moment.” Then release the rest that is out of your control. •Understand that the news gets more views for dramatizing a situation. TV is only TV if it has views. So know that they are still working for views and not usually public support. Get your news and get off. •If you truly need something, ask! Most communities are setting up emergency services for people. Do not be scared to make a post and ask! I’ve seen threads discussing which stores are restocked and where to get useful supplies. Communicate.
•Freeze food if you can. Almost everything can be preserved in the freezer! Bread, veggies, fruit.
•Most of all, be kind. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. This means that if you happen to have a basement of sanitizer and wipes and you know your neighbor with 10 kids doesn’t, share the kindness. Look out for one another. We are all in this together.
•If you are fortunate enough to have funds to share, share them! The local food pantries and food banks are working around the clock to make sure that the families in our communities are fed. Help if you can! Good deeds never go unnoticed or unappreciated.
•Create an online community bulletin broad for your town or neighborhood where you can discuss how everyone is and if anyone needs anything. Let no one suffer in silence. It’s also a great place to share when the next store is restocking or where to get supplies, craft ideas and so forth.
•Transmute negative energy. Imagine if you will a clear cup or glass filled with clear water. One drop of ink can change the color of the whole glass over time. Each action we take in love will eventually shift Earths vibration as a whole leading the way to meaningful connections and compassion while pushing out the fear. This is necessary work and will actively clear the negative energy and fear from this pandemic.
As a light worker, we have a responsibility to BE THE LIGHT when times get dark. I hope that you will take this as an opportunity to shine bright and be a beacon to your community even if it’s as simple as creating a community bulletin board, donating from afar, sending a neighbor baby wipes, checking on the elderly and communication. It’s all necessary. Use productive action and love. Don’t get caught in negative emotions and transmute the negativity into something beautiful.
Sending you all love. I hope you found this useful.
